[06.26.10] A few of my Monster Haiku strips have made it into a local publication called The Scope. Also, some super big news: Sir Ryan's Quest has been chosen as this year's selection for the One Book Every Young Child program of southeastern Connecticut. It's quite an honor. Check out their website here for more information. I'll post more details when I get them.
[05.26.10] Things are happening around here. Check out these drawings for my YA novel. More to come!
[05.24.10] This note was confiscated in a second grade classroom I recently visited. I'm shocked that second graders even pass notes young pass notes. However, I'm flattered that they were passing notes about Sir Ryan's Quest.
[05.14.10] By far, the coolest thing about being an author/illustrator is getting artwork from kids. Take a look here at this little number by a second grader at a school I visited recently. I repeat, SECOND GRADER. This kid's so good, I'll be out of a job in a few years.
[05.01.10] A bunch of Sir Ryan's Quest paraphernalia went on display today at a local library. Check out the picture below.
[04.15.10] The fine folks at the Connecticut Library Consortium have brought me on board their online database of local talent. Click this link to see. Librarians sure are swell people.
[04.13.10] Here are a few pictures from a recent signing I did. Check out the littlest knight. He put the pot on his own head. I think the boy's a genius.
[03.13.10] Artwork from Sir Ryan's Quest, sketches, models, storyboards, and other ephemera will be going on display at East Lyme Public Library starting May 1st.
[02.28.10] I just completed the first draft of my first ever YA novel. Here are a few images that I drew to visualize the action.
[02.15.10] Check out this picture of my daughter. She crawled in the cupboard to play with the pots Sir Ryan style without any prompting. It must be in the blood.
[01.24.10] A table featuring the characters from Sir Ryan's Quest was featured at a fundraising event last night called the Fairy Tale Ball. For this annual event, teams of designers set up tables inspired by children's books. Here are some pictures of the Sir Ryan table.

[01.16.10] I'm getting ready for the Fairy Tale Ball on January 23rd. Here are a couple of my latest creations for the event.
[01.03.10] Happy New Year, everyone! Not too much going on bookwise in these early weeks of 2010. But here are a few samples of a comic strip I created last month called Monster Haiku. The title says it all.
